MARY AT
LINDEN VINEYARDS

We went to the wineries in the Shenandoah Valley on Saturday and bought some really good red wine, 2001 Glen Manor Red for my parents. They like red wine, so we thought this was a good one paired with thsnksgiving dinner. Mmmmmm.

PEPPERMINT MOCHEY
It’s that time of year again, peppermint mocha time. Nothing says “holidays” like the minty goodness and chocolate decadence of a peppermint mocha from starblintz. What could possibly be better than one of these delicious tantalizations you ask? TWO delicious scrumptiousos of course! I got a coupon for a free one this morning and I may just use it.

VOTING
I went to vote this morning, right around the corner from my house. It would have been perfect since there were no lines, except that the state of virginia never updated my polling place from fairfax county to arlington. They did issue me an arlington drivers license (since this is how they get property taxes from me) but failed to update my voting info. SO, the voting system in America which stays open from 6am-7pm allows me about 1 hour to try to make it to my old polling station. It shouldn’t be so hard to vite in America. Why not keep the polls open until 10pm so the people with long commutes can make it to the polls?
