DOGS DO DREAM,
DREAM DOGS DO
Mary’s dog Nikoli woke me up at 5am barking in his sleep. It was FRICKIN HILARIOUS/ ANNOYING. I was looking at him like “what the ef is the deal?” and his eyes were all closed, plumped over on his side barking. Was he fantasizing about chasing an elusive squirrler… or was he just barking at the neighbor dog and feeling heroic? Its like, when I was a kid, I would dream about saving people from a burning house, or diving into a lake to help people escape a capsized boat (I don’t know why those were my hero dreams)…
CONSUMERIST
Goddangit is it hard to resist buying stuff! I REALLY want a blackberry or palm pilot, but I know exactly what will happen - i won’t use it. The only things that I spend money on and actually use are, clothes, transportation, and food. I do have a watch that I bought myself 2 years ago as a present for getting a new job, and the funny thing is, I ACTUALLY use it every day. The thing about me is, whenever I need that one little thing that I didn’t think was worth spending money on, I don’t have it. Like, tape, or tools, or kitchen items… I’m like a consumerist trapped in an anti-consumerists body. Its a constant struggle.
RACQUETBLINTZ
Well, it’s becoming official. Mary is getting better at racquetball. I don’t know how much longer I can beat her. I’ve tried acting like I was sick, but that facade did not work with her. I’ve tried saying that I was ‘trying a new move’, but that’s not working either.
NEATO MOSQUITO, OR NO?
I’m posting to my website from my cell phone. Not much to say now, suckas!
KIDMAN SLOWS TRAFFIC
How cool is it to live in a city where you get stories like this in your local nightly news: Meanwhile, prepare for K Street gridlock
The glitz and glamour of Hollywood is back in the District this week. The upcoming Nicole Kidman movie is going to be slowing down traffic in the District for a little bit… as crews continue to shoot scenes for the film “The Visiting.”
(P.S. I caused a minor car accident in July when Clint Eastwood was filming a movie at the Iwo Jima Memorial which I was rubbernecking at on my way to work. Ieeeeeeeee, have to admit it was my fault.)

Peep the new Amber Pacific album, ‘The Possibility and the Promise’… its the blintz. Also, for a much softer anti-folk session to chillax to, peep the live recordings of Regina Spektor. She is the freakin’ blintz too…. (especially check out ‘Samson’, a good one for the ladies.)
SNEAK PEEK
Here’s a sneak peek at a website I’m making for Qualified Live Entertainment. The objective is to achieve a look similar to the old SeanJohn.com. Which is simple, miami-esque, energetic and fun. I think it’s pretty close and am really excited about launching the entire site in the coming weeks.
I’m also designing t-shirts for cafe luna and another small restaurant in DuPont Circle… which is in Washington, DC. T-shirts are always fun.

I’ve been pretty damn busy lately getting Daone Studios up and running, and currently working on Qualified Live. If you like Daone Studios, contact Aykaydaone on his website and let him know. Peace.
