FISHIN HOLMES RUN
embarrassingly enough, I did catch a fish this weekend on Holmes run with Mary. Now, I say embarrassingly because of the nature of this particular fish. It was not a rainbow. It was not a brown. Not a brookie, or smallie… Not even a fish that belongs in a river. It was a freakin bluegill. But, Mary did get a cool photo of my hunting-vantage where I indeed did catch something.

HOLMES RUN: THE SAGA CONTINUES
In the effort to find good fly fishing inside the beltway thou hath triumphed. Holmes Run, off Columbia Pike near Lake Barcroft is a delayed harvest river which remains elusive in its booty but is earmarked for the taking. (Now if I could only get the local kids to stop throwing rocks at me it might be more fun.)

MY LOWER BIZZACK
My lower back is KILLING me! It’s been bad for over a month now, but in yesterday’s softball game (where I hit a homer I might add) I reinjured the *hit out of it. This morning I could barely walk from my parking space to the building. It sucks… so I’m about to go to the chiropractor in a few minutes, try to get this thing fixed. I could also use some serious percocet right about now.
