We just got done with 18 holes of one of those most beautiful golf courses I’ve ever played. It’s in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. This was the 16th-ish hole and we were several hundred feet above the green. It was Mary’s first time at a real golf course (last summer I took her to a nasty little beginner course which was basically someone’s back yard.) And she did really really good!

This is the soundtrack playing in my head when I go to the dingy I*B*M basement mail room.

Ryan and his dad found the best river for kayaking and fishing, but I will not release the identity of this undisclosed location unless under severe distress, or in exchange for tiny bite-sized chunks of english chocolate - whichever comes first.

Well, it’s not quite official yet. But Rocco and Antonio, my cousin’s in Frosolone, Italy might be coming to visit in August. It will be the perfect time for them to come too. They are trying to come during my sister’s wedding, where they will be able to meet all their cousins in America. I hope they can make it *Fingers Crossed.

I’ve told the story of my grandpa and his heroic gunfight back in 1932, and most people haven’t believed me. Especially when I tell them that the ‘bad guy’ was a man named Percy Purdy. Well folks, here’s the proof. My cousin Jon does a good job explaining the story as he remembers it here.

I watch ‘24′ every Monday night and this is what Ruez does… (he finds the show to be rather “low brow” and claims “the plot’s premise is overtly impractical”… he’s pretty smart for a cat.
