3 canceled flights, hours and hours of client meetings, 115 degree temperatures, dinner with uncle John and aunt Consuelo and 36 hours later I am finally on my way back to DC from Tucson. Click the photo above for more cellphone snapshots.

My dad and I are resurrecting Karns Electronics, albeit in a slightly different form. The original Karns Electronics, owned by my grandpa sold Karns Loudspeakers for home audio for over 50 years. But in its new form it will be an educational system for vocational ed high school students with possible college application as well. My dad is currently drafting lessons and I’ll be on the marketing end. If all goes well, I’ll be posting blogs from Bora Bora this time next year.

One of my biggest fears when fly fishing lately, is hooking one of these nasty-ass Snakehead fish. The kind that have infiltrated U.S. waters, especially in the mid-Atlantic and can survive for weeks on land.

Apparently not everyone shares my Snakeheadobia.

Well I was planning on meeting John Edwards and Barack Obama today at the ‘Take Back America Conference’… I thought I might get the obligatory ‘early political life of Eric Karns’ photo taken while shaking their hands…

But, we had an office meeting last week where we were informed that our group is sucking, and that we are “not yet at a point where we are asking not to take vacations”… which is basically another way of saying ‘don’t take time off’.

The National Aquarium in Baltimore rocked! We even ran into a festival in Little Italy and got ourselves a Cannoli. Suckas! (Even the hydrants are Italian…)
