NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE
August 27th, 2007
I had a near death experience during my lunch hour today. A yellow-jacket decided to land on my jugular while I was in my car. Passersby got a free show of a grown-ass man jackin the parking brake, busting out of the car and flailing about like a crazed cat woman. The silver lining to this story lies in the fact that this bee lived to see another day with stinger in tact. Also, my jugular is unscathed.

It’s amazing how much less skanky a song can be when it’s covered by an artist with taste. See ‘Umbrella’ covered with style. (It’s still sad to see how music these days panders to the lowest common denominator with songs about umbrellas and milkshakes.)
TERRIERS AND BARIFS EVERYWHERE

If you thought Barifs were the only thing we had to worry about, you were wrong. Terriers are the single most immediate threat to our nation.

Late Saturday night there was breaking news of a bomb scare near Charleston, SC. There was very little follow up to this story of 2 middle eastern men driving West on 176 towards I-95 (which goes from Florida to DC, to NYC) with suspicious materials. The men had come from Florida, so it seems they were heading north towards the East Coast. I wonder how many stories like this are buried in the news. Kinda scary… sounds to me a lot like ‘probing’? Local story here.
